On the second day of our quick trip, we only had to expectations for the day: 1) stay outdoors and 2) have a picnic. We did just that. We started off with some breakfast at The Towne Plaza. It was pretty yummy and sitting outside on a patio is always a plus. While we were grubbin', the weather was pretty gloomy but still warm, but even though we were confused on what to do and what to wear, we headed over to the bay area. We rented out our bikes for a couple of hours and...
rode down the TART trail (12 miles, baby!) It was fantastic to just feel like a kid again. Afterwards we went to the park and had a couple of hours of relaxation and just enjoyed our picnic set-up...basket and all. We then were going to go on a hike but realized it was too late and we were the only people for miles so we decided to not take part in the creepy vibes and instead went to eat...per usual. We had such a beautiful dining experience at The Franklin - I would highly recommend this place if you're in the area. Beautiful rooftop patio with delicious drink options and savory food.
