Breaking Spring

I’m disgusted with myself. Over two hours of ‘drooling’ over two pairs of shoes that have been sold out ever since I can remember (see: Acne Atacoma wedge & Miu Miu Sparrow Mary Jane pumps)- my mom can’t even handle being next to me as I mope about not being able to get those babies. I still think back and wonder if $650 was reasonable…probably not…I’ll keep wishing.  I just don’t know what unhealthy obsession over tall heels came over me. There must be a height complex that I’m dealing with, but they’re just.so.sexy.

Looking past my sad introductory story, I’ve been on spring break some odd days and the weather is not too thrilling, after all Chicago IS notorious for its inconsistency, but I’m not going to complain. As I was lounging around, I realized that 1) I haven’t blogged on here in a while 2) I hadn’t put my new ‘blouse’ into use & 3) I needed to take new pictures of my sister/myself. Waiting for her to get out of school was a battle with the smidge of sun that was out this day. I don’t think I’ve ever done my makeup as fast, or had my sister do my hair in such a short period of time (note to anyone with long, thick hair: buy a 1 inch flat iron and do messy curls in 7-8 minutes…you’ll get compliments all day).

So here we are, and yes…there’s RGB editing/alteration to my photos…obviously not everything in my backyard has a bluish tint, even though that would be very insane and bizarre= exciting.

Poor girl, she wore shorts (Guess leather/pleather?...great deal) in super windy conditions, so I gave her my long-sleeved oversized H&M polka dot shirt (one of my favorites)…I wanted her to wear her black ALDO kickass boots, but to each their own…and she wanted to be more ‘springy’ with her belt. I can’t control her. I can’t control her. Haha. On the other hand, I opted for a way warmer alternative: deep purple velvet leggings (take THAT to all the people who said they’d just lay in my closet), with my American Apparel 3D Flower Mesh Jumper (so inlove with it…words cannot describe this materialistic bond). Unfortunately, I brought home unconventional shoes, so my Jeffrey Campbell K-Genius shoes it was.

* drumroll please *

(I'm laughing like an idiot and my sister just lays against the car like a BOSS)

(This was my attempt at my sister's "'pose" against the fence. Except it looks like I'm dancing)

(This angle made me look taller :P)

(I look a little out of it, but I liked the jaded/faded thing going on)

Jeremy Scott's Genius

To be quite honest, I haven't been putting in effort as to what I look like for the day. It's just roll up out of bed and go. While looking like a girl who doesn't care about anything- and I mean anything (yes, it goes way beyond how I look), I continuously drool over one of my favorite designers of all time. I am shining light to Sir Jeremy Scott. He is brilliant and his newest collection for the upcoming F/W line makes me want to feel good all the time. Time to get past this hazy faze I'm going through and delve into this imaginative world again- maybe it really IS time to go on and die my hair.
As a broke college students lusts, here are some photos to keep me internet window shopping (PS: I got all the images from Google):

I understand that I may be late with it but I still have an obsession with it, and it's live and kicking.
