CHANEL Pre-Fall 2012 | Paris-Bombay Collection

I've been meaning to blog about Chanel's pre-fall 2012 collection, but the spark was in full swing once a lovely lady (Sarah H.) put up the video titled 'Details of the Collection'. Some people hate this collection and others love it....and I love it, too! I'm into the eclectic vibe, yet very 'Chanel'-like features it retains. Let's not get started on the sultry makeup and badass hair (dreads) and most of all the divine jewelry/accessories. This all feels very mysterious and seductive to me. The theme being Paris-meets-Bombay is refreshing and made for a beautiful runway. So aesthetically pleasing. So decadent. So Chanel.

Bisous!

Every finals week, I buy one or two small things that make me feel better. Whether it's a cupcake, a magazine or a candle, it automatically puts me in a great mood; it never fails! This time around I went and picked up some bits and bobs. V Magazine came out with their model issue and I had to snag up the cover with Bambi-Northwood Blyth and Lindsey Wixson on it (there were different covers available). Also picked up a ring (in my previous post) as well as a deep purple velvet braided hair band. Plus side: my mom ordered me my black velvet studded loafers from Topshop and they came in my time of need, haha.

It's the little things, definitely the little things.

Collection: LF Winter Lookbook

Bonjour! 

It's the 1st of December and the super cold days have already greeted us, and though that may seem like such a drag, it also means that it's time to layer up and bust out those cozy warm jackets and sweaters. Heating up the weather is definitely LF (a store that can be found in New York, California, Florida, Massachusetts and Texas). Unfortunately there are no stores in Illinois and there isn't an online shopping option, but a girl can admire from afar, can't she? Collection: H&M x Versace

My pleasure.

It has been talked about for a while and will be launching soon to select stores, but Versace has partnered up with H&M to bring some of the most iconic pieces to a larger audience at more affordable prices. I've added a slim amount of their advertisements and pictures of the runway since they are flooded everywhere on the web and I don't want to be so overwhelming. I will say the the film for the line has me hooked. Since I'm still at school, I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it to the madhouse that H&M will be once they open up on Nov. 19th at 8:00 AM. Will you be buying?
