October Has Arrived!

Happy 1st of the month everyone! To bring in October, I went apple picking yesterday...and found out it was the last day to go - so I definitely felt uber lucky. The weather was beautiful and the perfect 'Sunday Funday' if you ask me. I came home with some fresh picked apples, apple cider and of course...apple donuts!

Oh, and before I sign off...I wanted to say that I finally got my Facebook page up and running, so if you 'like' there it'd be awesome, seeing as I'll try to update more frequently on there in between posting on here. I'm givin' it a go and seeing how it turns out.

I also have a new header - an update was needed, fo'sho. Perfect way to start the month, huh?

Miroslava Duma, a 28 year-old former Harper's Bazaar Russia editor, free lance writer and founder of Buro 24/7 , is a fashion inspiration like no other. She has a beautiful son and that does not mean that she went out to buy herself a pair of "mom jeans" (not the good kind). Always an eye-popper at fashion weeks, she sports dynamic cuts, effortless prints and textures and has mastered 'casual chic'. A hard worker, brilliant style icon, part of the short girls club and she has fantastic hair - of course I'm obsessing! I'd take a walk in her Louboutin's, any day.

PS: My favorite twins, Tegan and Sara, have come out with their single 'Closer' from their new album. I love them so much and love the pop-y vibe. Enjoy the tune below!

OOTD | Sheer & Denim

When I found this 'dress' I was BEYOND excited. The possibilities of wearing this bad boy are endless and I'm definitely going to be repeat offending! At first I contemplated dressing it up with some heels and a slick bun but it's summer and I wanted to go for a casual and easy look. What screams summer than some white chucks, and of course, messy hair? I also have a video version of this outfit at the end of the photo roll in this blog post. Enjoy!
