TRY AGAIN

If at first you don't succeed...

I fully believe in supporting female content creators. So, when one of my favorite YouTubers announced that she was launching her own clothing brand/shop, I lost my shit. 

I've been following Jenn Im — aka ClothesEncounters — for years and have admired her cool AF style and authentic personality. She's effortless and kind of feels like a best friend (even though we've never, ever met. Creepy? Maybe. But hey, this is internet culture we're talking about here.)

So when her store Eggie went live, I decided to purchase the "Try Again Cropped T" you see right here:

The first thing I immediately noticed was the quality. It was heavier than anticipated and felt so soft. However, as someone who loves all-things huge, flowy, and oversized, I knew what I ordered wasn't gonna cut it because it fit true to size.

I returned it in exchange for a bigger size and couldn't have been happier. For 2.5 seconds I contemplated getting the black version of this ribbed jersey crop, but I am reallllllly diggin' blush tones lately.

Call me basic, but I paired it with my go-to black skinny jeans you've seen before, velvet booties you've also seen before, and my fuzzy blue coat which you've also...you guessed it... have scrolled past on this page before.

It was freezing the day I decided to document this look, but I was holding out on my love for this piece for too long and decided to sacrifice warmth for a couple of shots.

It's safe to say that I'm going to be buying A LOT more pieces from the Eggie shop. Jenn killed it, but what else is new?
