Boyfriend Jeans Without the Boyfriend • OOTD

White top- Zara / Plaid shirt - BDG / Jeans - Zara/ Heels  - Jeffrey Campbell/ Bag - Alexander Wang
Let's face a couple of facts here:
- I don't need a boyfriend to rock "Boyfriend Jeans"
- I am gay
- I have a girlfriend (who doesn't wear this style of jeans)

I couldn't deny a pair of baggy, ripped jeans when I eyed this pair at Zara a couple of months ago. I think they're easy to chuck on with a graphic tee and you can still look like you tried...kinda. This time I decided to pair it with a basic top and a flowy plaid button up (I use the term "flowy" loosely as it's more of a baggier top...which is what I go for 99% of the time - I just like to be comfortable, okay?!) To not be completely swallowed by my top and bottoms (#shortgirlstruggle), I finally decided to wear my Jeffrey Campbell Soiree heels to elongate me a bit. The whole putting outfit thing together thing = easy. The whole walking in heels = not so much. PS. DON'T FORGET TO CLICK 'PLAY' ON THE YOUTUBE VIDEO I DID FOR THIS OOTD - IT'LL BE IN BETWEEN SOME OF THE POST PHOTOS.

Alexander Wang 'Rocco' - AKA "Sir Alexander"

After tons of saving, researching and lusting - I pulled the trigger and bought the ALEXANDER WANG 'Rocco' bag w/ Rose Gold hardware a little over a month ago. I opted for the black pebbled leather and mygod, this baby is soft. When I first saw this back 1+ year ago, I instantly fell in love - the price tag definitely slowed my beating heart down. I gave myself a goal to treat myself after working at my first job post-grad for at least 1 year as a congratulations to starting off my career. I have probably asked at least 10+ different people if I should buy it and this is seriously one of the best materialistic purchases I have made. It is a bit heavy due to the studs at the bottom, but it was worth every penny! I bought it from Shopbop (click here to check it out) because I love their service.
I'm so happy, definitely poorer,  but happy nonetheless.
I'm sure you'll see this purse in better photographs/more posts in the future.

Weather Wear: Fall Edition

As crisp air and warm drinks on menus have begun to dominate the world I live in, it's safe to say that it's Fall time and quite possibly my favorite season (I used to think Spring was my favorite...am I a changed woman?). I get so excited that dark colors pop up everywhere more frequently...I think I needed a break from the pastels/brights (even though as I'm writing this, I'm wearing a flourescent pink blouse with baby blue pants - but whatever!) There's something about this season that gets me inspired-  maybe bcause it reminds me of London weather, and I love it there. So, I created three sets of simple Fall outfits based on my style and you can check these babies out below.

NYFW | Alexander Wang F/W '12

When has Alexander Wang seized to amaze the fashion world with his structured and seemingly effortless cuts? The sleek and modern feel oozes from head to toe; the heavier top portions slimming down to trousers or skirts with high slits and the to-die-for boots. There's definitely a focus on outerwear and the color palette is minimal in all the right ways. One thing's for sure, Mr. Wang does not skip a beat!
Enjoy some of my favorite looks!
