Everything that I wear (lately) has been rooted in comfort > style. But when you throw a fuzzy coat over something as simple as black jeans and a t-shirt, then it automatically looks like you've put in some effort.
I went to brunch with Michelle from The Healthy Latina at Bad Hunter, and it was great food with even better company. It's always nice to catch up and chat with someone, where the conversation naturally flows, and when they inspire you to keep kicking ass.
Other then that, I dedicated the rest of the day to just relaxing. I feel like I'm constantly packing my weekends with "chores" and "to-dos" that I wanted to simply chill. Before I hibernated in my apartment, I asked Lauren to shoot some photos of my outfit solely for the fact that I finally wore my "Como La Flor" x Mazapan tee.
I hardly wear bright colors, but I fell in love with this shirt the moment I saw it. My little Chicana heart lost it when I realized they used the iconic (yes, iconic) mazapan logo with a legendary Selena Quintanilla song over it. It's the BEST mashup on a shirt, and one of my favorite items in my closet at the moment. It's so good I even got my sister one and, if you're about that life, you can buy one here.
I also finally wore by Adidas NMD's — they're so damn comfortable. If you've been thinking about buying them, do it.
