walking around in a different neighborhood is always refreshing. I took some vacation days from work to unwind, explore, and press the reset button. It was much needed and I finally got to check out the oh-so-popular coffee shop, Sawada — and realized why people rave about this place. Besides the bitchin' aesthetic and overall ambiance, they have damn good coffee.
I loved it so much I went there twice and, trust me, I would go there every day if it were closer to my apartment. The first time I tried their most sought-after drink: the Military latte. You can check out that beauty on my Instagram page here. It was green matcha magic — 10/10 would recommend.
The next time I got a classic vanilla latte and my tastebuds have never been happier. My girlfriend, Lauren, got the Black Camo latte (both times) and that was pretty next level. It's made with imported roasted matcha called hojicha and it will give you life! Seriously, check this place out if you're ever in that area.
