In's & Out's No. 8

Last "In's & Out's" was in September - man, crazy how 4-5 months can fly by! These are a little more personal in the sense that they are tailored to me, not any trend or "hype" that is happening, for the most part! Awesomely enough, there are way more "In's" - enjoy!

In's:

- Putting a collared shirt under jumpers/sweaters - especially if the sweater has a graphic on it (I've been too addicted to this)

- Naps (I just found out how to re-incorporate them into my life)

- My new glasses! Well...okay, they're the same except my frames were ruined so I got the same exact pair again and the same style in black too!

- Vanilla ice-cream with bananas in it during the wintertime 

- Reading during my commute to/from work

- Black leather/pleather overalls (pants)

- Drinking lots and lots of water with some frozen fruit in it

- Hats - always

- Leopard (for me)- I can't wait to rock some leopard and mint colored things together! 

- Speaking of leopard: my new UNIF X Nastygal 'Hellbound' shoes  - I'm now 6 inches taller! You can see my new babies in the picture below:

I paired them with my AA frill socks

Out's:

-  Ombré hair - for me at least, I'm so happy mine is almost gone (who knows if I'll revisit it, we had a good time :P)

- Cold weather + rain

- Spending so much money on lunch everyday

- Creative mind blocks

- Huge backpacks that whack you in the face while you're on the bus/train :(

- Crocs -always - especially when worn with 5 layers of socks in the middle of winter...just, no, please.

- People who are assholes, obviously

In's & Out's No. 7

It's been a while since my last "In's & Out's", huh? Damn, I've been slacking but I've got some random ones in here that have been floating in my mind. Well, without much further ado:

The XX - Chained by SONAR BEAT

In's:

- Mixing metals. I used to be so wary about this but now I think it's fun and eclectic. It's nice to wear some gold and silver without them feeling like enemies
- Pineapple

- Messy top buns, but not too messy to the point that it is drooping on one side of your head. So easy, effortless and perfect for the summer, fall, winter and spring - or when you just don't feel like dealing with it at all

- NYFW
- The new XX album
- Laying in bed and reading September issues, sans any technology
- My baby nephew, Chase
- Mastering my everyday makeup routine in 7 minutes or less
- Hoodies and boots weather upon us!!!
- Travelling (always)

Out's:
- Making life a routine since I've started my career and feeling as if I can't make time
- Mushrooms (always an 'out')
- Buying on a whim - it's become a bad trend recently, and that's not the best of problems to have when you already have a shopping problem
- Insomnia
- Monogrammed LV purses
- Limiting your abilities because of what you think you have to do, instead of discovering new wonders; let fear go, and just do.
- Silly arguments
- Running out the house with your shirt inside out

In's & Out's No. 6

I usually don't post In's and Out's so close to each other, or update them so frequently because I like the excitement and new experiences/thoughts to fully kick in, but I thought, "Why not?" So here's the first In's and Out's of this year! Enjoy!

In's:

-Braiding a small portion of my hair and pinning it back. I don't know if it's because I'm used to having my hair shaved on the left side (Circa Sept./Oct. 2010, or if I generally hate hair in my face), but I've been doing this non-stop.

-The new tights my bestie got me. Cream with  minted polka-dots. uh.maze.ing.

- My Bobble water bottle. I bought it when I went to the UK last summer and have rekindled my relationship with it.

- Sheer blouses...still

- Sunlight

- Gum...and obsession since I can remember.

- Flourescent neon sticky notes

- Pastels making a come-back...even tough they never left my closet!

Out's:

- Breaking a nail...it sounds so cliche, but it hurted!

- The cold.

- The overpriced sunglasses I want...and am trying to justify the price for it...so the MONEY is the 'out' not the glasses!
- 

- Self-doubt. That shit is soooo out of my life!

- Makeup that's been on for 8+ hrs without a touch-up (for me)

- Becoming more and more scared of 'scary' movies...they used to be my favorite genre! Dang!

In's & Out's No. 5

Ins:

- A brand-spankin' fresh New Year right around the corner. What's not to love about the enthusiasm people have about turning a 'new leaf'.

- My hair dye fading. I'm a little sad that it's fading, but I can't help to love how many different shades of pink is going on!

- Claws. On bags, socks, earrings...anything. I know it's a passing fad, but I've been sucked into its entirety.

- NYLON magazine's January 2012 issue (with Dianna Agron on the cover). I'm diggin' the 60's re-revival (because you know it's too amazing, it keeps coming back)

- Me and my best friend's (Ruth) obsession with shoes. We literally gasp on the phone over the stunning and ecelctic shoes we find. YES!

Outs:

- This dreary weather. Seriously...it's putting a damper on my days...see what I did there? ;)

- Driving to work in the dark, driving back home in the dark (see above 'out' for why there is a lack of sunlight)

- My Apple headphones not working anymore (the right ear bud at least). Don't get me wrong, I have other headphones that are awesome, but too big to bring around to certain places. Why do Apple headphones always break?!
- Kitten heels. Always out. & I repeat: always out (for me).

In's & Out's No. 4

Being on break is so relaxing...maybe too relaxing. I never thought I'd say that. But here I am with my 4th post on my "In's and Out's"

- Christmas....obviously. No, it's not about the gifts (even though that's nice), but the overall spirit and attitude people hold. Religious or not, I like this cheeky little holiday!

- School girl socks and Doc Martens.

- Labels: Opening Ceremony | Viktor & Rolf | VALENTINO
- Velvet

- Watching The Devil Wears Prada every night for 5 nights now; makes for amazing dreams...trust me :)

- My mother's cooking...but I mean, when is that NOT in?

- Leather and spiked everything, duh.

- Colored hair; pink, blue, green, white, etc. It's always refreshing to reinvent yourself, one way or another.

Out's:

- Leaving 'vital' things at my apartment back at school (always happens!)

- Toxic people <-- always an out!

- Corduroy
- My grandpa not being here for the holidays, stay warm in Mexico, boo.

- Eyeshadow that produces too much fall-out.

- Parking during the holidays.
