The Pants I'll Never Throw Away

Go ahead, open this post up — you know you wanna see them.

I bought these green leaf-printed pants at Forever 21 so long ago, I can't even think about the year they came into my life. What I do know is that these tropical trousers will always have a home in my closet; no matter how many items I get rid of and donate during my seasonal purges, these aren't going anywhere.

It's not like they're the most flattering, either. They bulge up at the top and don't taper down my leg the way they looked on the mannequin because I'm shorter than the average 13-year-old girl. I'm 27, FYI.

Although I don't wear them all that often, they have this weird sense of making me feel like, well...me.

You might be thinking, 'Girl, GTFO of here with all this emotional attachment to materialistic things,' but I don't even care.

It felt nice to walk out of my apartment with no makeup on, no real plans on where to go, but feel in my zone with these pantalones. It was a good day, and it will always be a good day whenever I have these on.

Remember: Value is much more than just dollar signs. Even Forever 21 pants can feel absolutely priceless.
