I used to wear colorful, in-your-face, patterned items when I was younger. I wasn't scared to be experimental — it was all a part of trying to figure out what worked for me. So when I finally realized that I felt the most comfortable, and confident, in loose, free-flowing neutral clothing, I ran with it. Now, 90% of my closet has been taken over by the same colors and getting dressed has never felt easier.
But let me keep it real with you: I have been feeling so uninspired. I've slowly been injecting new shades (pastels, brights, etc) into my style uniform and I am living for it!
My fashion formula has taken a new turn, and now every time I step into a store I can't help but peruse every section instead of immediately running to my standard go-tos. That's exactly what happened when I eyed this vermillion top at Uniqlo — I loved it so much I switched out of the top I was wearing and wore this straight out of the store.
Who knows if it's a temporary craving, or a long-term fix, but I am all about exploring colors again. It's not easy (for me, at least) but it's so worth it!
All outfit deets will be at the end of the post xx
