Old OOTD & Catching Up

Since the last time I blogged I've: 1) turned 22 years old 2) gotten a kitty 3) had my sister over for her spring break 4) ombre has faded...significantly 5) re- pierced my lip, myself. So yeah, a lot has gone on from there 'til here but that's life! I'm currently stressing about life post-grad and wondering how close graduation is upon me. Moving past the headache consuming thoughts, I thought that I needed to revisit my blog and so I come bearing the 'gift' of an old outfit of the day. My sister, Lisa and I were running out to get some fro-yo and just walk around the quad so I plopped on some comfy clothes (aka the MOST soft tee on earth by Marc Jacobs, purple velvet leggings and my over-worn studded loafers) I'll get back to posting more frequently, I've just been busy with my kitty Mila and figuring out my life, nbd. PhotoBooth OOTD

I left you all before I embarked on to Miami, and here I am back at it with a tinge of tan on me :) Today was the first day after Spring Break that I've been able to breathe - after class, that is. I had an exam today and decided that the only way I would feel good about it is if I accomplished something I've been meaning to do...the milk-maid braid! See picture directly under this sentence.

So, success! It happened! I was so happy with the outcome and it really set the mood for my day! I felt fantastic and in such a good mood, the universe is aligning itself quite beautifully for me if I do say so myself. Anywho, I wanted to do a proper OOTD (outfit of the day) but was too lazy, so I PhotoBooth'd my laid back, easy-going, Drew Barrymore inspired outfit and took some goofy pics here and there. I also have been meaning to joke around with a gif site and made a mini-non-sensical gif at the end of this post. I know this is rambly and everywhere but I think the weather's got my spirits on level ten. Oh, and maybe the Primadonna song, too!

Spring Spring Spring!

Maybe it's the fact that I have a midterm in a couple of hours or that I'm too scared to look at my bank account, but I'm not obsessing over a tangible item. What I am obsessing over is the insanely beautiful weather we have going on in the midwest; mid-to-high 70's. The quad is packed with people playing frisbee, walking the tightrope, reading books in hammocks and basking in the sun while laying on the grass. The entire mood is roaring with excitement and the pastels and bright colored pants have come out to play (thankfully my neon pants from 3 years ago can come back into rotation - never throw stuff away!) Spring break is upon me and I'm daydreaming of beaches, delicious fruity drinks and a nice glow to my skin. I hope everyone's enjoying life's little pleasures!
